About Us


North Star is Winston-Salem’s LGBTQ Community Center. The Community Center opened on September 21, 2013. The Center offers many educational, social, and collaborative activities for the whole community in the Piedmont/Triad area.

Mission Statement

North Star’s mission is “To foster community across intersecting identities through advocacy, compassion, education, and service.”
